…Not mine. This is hands-down the best commission I’ve ever received. It had to include: the bride, groom, and their dog flying around in planes with a heart in the contrails, the skyline of Chicago, and “somewhere, penguins.”
Also, hair is bliss to draw. Especially big-ass Texas hair.
Hey, remember these guys? If not (or if so), now’s the perfect time to click through and check out the mini-comic that I made a little while ago. It’s been put into a new format that’s easier to read than just scrolling through the archives, unless you enjoy that sort of thing.
Also: I am going to be at CAKE Chicago this Saturday, and am getting excited! I also plan to have more copies of “My Boyfriend, The Dragon" to go around as well, if you ask nicely. Come say hi!
Still alive! After eight long, wonderful years in Washington DC, I finally made the move halfway across the country to live in Chicago.
It’s taken a while to get plugged in, what with jobs and friends and family, but I finally feel as though I’ve gotten myself comfortably established, to a reasonable degree. I will miss the East Coast and all of the wonderful people, but look forward to getting to celebrate the art of my new city at CAKE this summer, if any of you plan on being there!
